Silver Sound's Brendan Murphy recently produced and edited a short film entitled "Lost Wax" for L'Ecole Van Cleef & Arpels. L'Ecole is a school in Paris offering a unique opportunity to discover and learn about jewlery making. The "Lost Wax" process is quite fascinating. It involves a skilled craftsman making an intricate 3d sculpture of a piece of jewlery out of wax. The wax will later be melted to create the mold for the piece. We had the pleasure of working with cinematographer Eric Westpheling on location at The Van Cleef & Arpels workshop in NYC.

The Avante Garde Diaries
is a chronicle of interesting conversations that happen between 2 (or more) artists. While talking about their work, the artists often reveal insights into the creative process. These are the kind of artists that push boundries and blur borders.Silver Sound Mixer Theodore  Robinson had the opportunity to capture a couple of these conversations with highest fidelity.Check them out here and here!
