Ted and James were in the studio recently to record some of the score for Ready Or Not. We interrupted their session to ask them a few questions about the project. 

Ted: "James is an incredibly talented and prolific performer, be it with voice, guitar, or on Broadway. So instead of composing and arranging everything beforehand, our goal was to make things sound more 'live' by taking those performance skills and capturing them in their raw form in the studio, and then use that to create a sound pallet for the film."

We are incredibly stoked about the start of Season 2 of The Leviathan Chronicles, A sci-fi-adventure audio drama (that's right an audio drama, a movie for your ears) created by author/producer Christof Laputka. Silver Sounders Luke Allen and Robin Shore recently emerged from their hidden sound bunker in Austin Texas, where they spent the first 2 months of the year recording, editing, and mixing the 15 hours of sonic material that makes up this audio epic. So we do location sound recording on a little show called BORN TO EXPLORE on a little network, ABC. It just won a little award-- the Gold Medal Parent's Choice Award!

OOPS! Just like Britney Spears, we did it again: Director Ian Samuel's CATERWAUL-- which we provided both location sound AND sound design for-- just won not one, but TWO film festivals! Big shout outs to actresses LESLEY CHOY and LAURIE STRICKLAND for helping us create some of the haunting sounds for Hattie (pictured above).
